A Reflection on the March/April Issue of Sharing
I was sitting here just getting ready to do my morning Bible reading when I noticed the Sharing magazine for March/April on our coffee table. Then it hit me. The cross on the front is bridging an earthquake with the title “Suffering”. What a prophetic cover! Not prophetic in the sense of God sending an earthquake, but prophetic in the cross lying across the brokenness. Having had such a heavy heart for the people of Japan, I felt a surge of hope. Jesus will help this nation. Jesus will heal this nation from the suffering they are enduring. And they will know Him. Our prayers can help open a way for His love to heal their hearts and communities. God is honoring all the prayers we are sending up in behalf of these people, and He wanted us to know so in advance. It made me want to pray even more for these people. I hope it has the same effect on you as well.
