As recently as twenty-five years
ago, healing services were a rarity in the principal denominations
of the church. Now they are becoming an accepted part of the church
ministry not only in America, but in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia,
New Zealand and many other countries in the world. The Order of St.
Luke the Physician believes that Jesus' ministry of healing should
be a vital part of the ministry of every Christian church, regardless
of denomination, that healing is an essential part of the teachings
of Jesus Christ.
